Monitors essential services Ipswitch WhatsUp Small Business uses TCP protocols to monitor services running on the selected devices, including:
Notification options Users choose one or more ways to be alerted when services or devices are down 5 or 20 minutes, or as soon as services or devices have been up for 5 minutes:
- Audio alarm (.wav files recommended)
- E-mail via SMTP
- Visual alert via win pop-up or task tray
Report options Current and historical reports include:
- Health (current device status)
- Availability by percent of devices or up/down history of each (by month, week, all or part of a day)
- Response time performance displayed as hourly or daily averages in reports covering a month, week, all or part of a day (raw data retained for 3 days)
